It is best to compress large files for emailing. WinZip is a user friendly compression file that can be downloaded free of charge from their site www.winzip.com . Once downloaded just right click on your file you wish to compress and click on winzip and the prompt will appear for you to add the file to the archive. Check to make sure of the location you want to save the file to and click add. Your file will compress and it will appear in your directory with the winzip picture. To extract it, just double click on the file and it will unzip and open. Zipping files also saves file storage on your computer hard drive.
